I opened Infinite Craft like I always open “just one thing”: quietly, with the confidence of someone who definitely has self-control. I told myself I’d poke around for a minute, maybe mash a couple of buttons, and then go back to being a responsible adult. Then the game hit me with its friendly little premise and four bland-looking starters: Water, Fire, Earth, and Wind. Simple enough. Almost suspiciously simple.
